Opening new pages in IE 6 requires multiple clicks

I am using IE 6.0.2900 and have two annoying problems that I would like to fix.

1. When I click on a link, the new window opens as a small size that I have
to click again to enlarge. How can I set IE pages to open full size all the
time?

2. Sometimes when other pages are open, the new page opens *underneath* the
open pages, so I have to either close the other window or click on the bottom
line to get it to come up on the top.

Is there a quick fix for each of these little annoyances?

Hi Loren,
Answer 1- When the minimized window open Put your Mouse/Pointer over the
Egde of the window when you see the pointer change into <----> Double header
Hold dwon the left Button on your mouse and Drag to the Top, repeat this in
All direction " Left, Right, UP, Down Window edge until you get the full
size, then close the Old window which opened the window you maxmized and
click refresh on the full size screen window then close it and Reboot your
computer.

Answer2 Q- Open your IE Properties, to do that Right Click on your IE icon
on the desktop and select Properties.
On the IE properties Click on Advanced Tab and scroll down to the Option
Browsing:
[ ] Reuse Windows for Launching Shortcuts Check this Box
Clear your Caches and delete Offline File and cookies then Reboot your
machine.
HTH
Please let us know your outcome.

Thank you nass... both suggestions worked. I remember now that I once knew
your first answer, but had forgotten it.

The only problem I had was getting back into this newsgroup because I had
emptied all the cookies, histories and cache's and had forgotten my live
password, so I had to go in an re-set a new one

Thanks again for your help. :-)
