Are you *sure* you're entering the correct password? Check that your
caps-lock key is off, and that you're entering the password exactly as
required, including upper/lower case etc
Can you connect to the server through FP http mode normally? You could
publish guestlog file down to your machine, edit and republish.
If you can connect to the server through FP HTTP mode, I don't see why you
can't connect live to the server.
You might want to check with your Host about this issue.
It sounds like you were connecting through FTP mode, in which case logging
on live to the server via HTTP won't work - as that requires the server
extensions to be installed.
Other ways around getting to access the server, well you could always
connect via normal FTP (like with CuteFTP) and download the guestlog file.
Once you've edited it and uploaded it again, then check with your host about
the connecting issue.
I have read some previous answers on how to edit the guestlog...so I was
trying to open my site in FP but I can not get passed the authentication
screen.....why doesn't it accept my password like it did when I published
it?
Is there any other way for me to access the host server?
