Opening Korean Documents from Hangul

I posted this in the Korean forum also, but there seems to be little
activity there, so I'll try it out here.

My friend has a Korean version of XP Home and MS Word. She wants to be able
to open a file type created by the Korean word processing program Hangul
2002, whose files normally can't be read by MS Word. Hangul 2002 makes
files with the extension .HWP

Anybody who works with Korean maybe know of a plugin from either company??

(On the Korean MS Office site, there is something about a Plus Pack allowing
Hangul documents to be opened, but I didn't see how you could get this plus
pack. I guess you have to buy it.)

If youur friend checks Help under "Korean" they can read up on what needs to
be done to enable Windows and Word for East Asian text in general, and
Korean specifically.

I'm pretty sure her system is all in Korean (she's in Korea). In Korea,
there's this other word processing program called Hangul 2002, which makes
documents with the file extension .HWP - MS Word in it's normal
configuration can't open these files.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a plugin for either Word or Hangul that
would let Word open a .HWP file?
