opening forms

I am opening a form by using a button on another form. When the form
opens...it won't let me input any data or type in any information. Why is it
doing this? Please help

There are several possibilities .

1. please check your form property : recordset type : Dynaset /
Dynaset(inconsistent update)/snapshot . If snapshot , it is read only .

2. Cek also your recordsource form in question . is it based on query or
table .
If based on a query then also check recordset type .

Those two probably can solve the problem but the problem's source could be
any where .

Another possibility is that the Allow Additions property of the second form
is set to No.
