Hi Folks,
happywave.gif

Since i switched over to Windows 7 i have been having problems opening files while i'm surfing and downloading stuff. I don't remember having problems with Vista and my XP machine in work seems to be far better at opening files for me. Am i missing something in the new installation ? Could it be because i have not installed Adobe yet ? Any suggestions would be great.

Quite the opposite ...

If you did not do a clean install of W7, please report back when you have. :)

really need more info on what "programs" you are using.

Hi Mucks...
I did a custom install of W7 and so far the only stuff i have installed is MS office home and student and a dvd burning program and an AV program(MS) and also Mbam and firefox. I'm thinking now that custom is not the same as "clean install". I think the best thing for me to do is post screen shots the next time i run across the unopenable filetypes.
Thanks for the reply.
