I have a web site I use on a regular basis which uses GIF images. I can right
click and Save the image then view it using Photoshop. However is there any
way I can set up this to do this automatically. In other words tell my PC to
'Always open this file type (GIF) using..... So when I double click on the
GIF image it automatically opens photoshop and then the GIF image ?

Best Wishes

Next time you right click and select Open with and chose the program select
the Check box Open Always with this program and next time just double click
the image and Photoshop will open it Auto for you.
I think may be Phtotoshop already make itself feel at home and taken over
the default Image viewer anyway.

You can also open Photoshop and in preferences, set all file
types you want. You may want to be careful, so files types
may have the same extension, but should be seen in
particular program types.
