I have Windows 2000 Professional and I am using Outlook Express. When I try
to open a .eml attachment (like those used to send a forwarded message), I
get the dialog box about how it could contain a virus and it asks whether I
want to open it or save it. I click open, and nothing happens. But the
weird thing is that I can open other attachments (.txt, .doc, etc) without a
problem, so I don't know what else to try. I know there is an option under
"Security" where you can check whether or not you want it to block
attachments that could contain viruses, and it's unchecked. Also, I have
tried it with Norton Internet Security enabled and disabled. Any help would
be much appreciated.
