Opening contacts causes Outlook to close

One user reports when creating a message and she tries to
choose a contact name from her personal contact list,
Outlook immediately shuts down giving no error message.
My thought was that there might be a corrupt contact, but
really not sure. Also, she has over 400 contacts, so I
really don't want to check each and every one.

All service packs, updates, etc are up to date.
 
What information store?
Tried repairing the Outlook Address Book service? (Remove and re-add it).
 
Information Store is Exchange Server. I did try the
removal of the address book - another faq recommended it.

Then you have an Exchange issue with which I cannot help. Try an Exchange
group.

I am having the same issue. My user is on Windows XP
Outlook 2000 and so am I. The problem with his profile
happens on both our computers. My profile works fine on
both PC's. My Citrix client running on NT Termial Server
and Outlook XP does not have the same issue with his
profile. We are also using Exchange. Please forward any
solutions to me also.
