Whenever I open my web site (with an address on the internet) in Frontpage
2003, Frontpage doesn't ask me for username and password. How can I change it
so it ask for it ?

Did you at one time check the box "Save User Name and Password, or add the
site to your Trusted Zones??

If it prompted me that the first time, I am sure I checked the box. Is it
possible to reverse that ?

Yes.
Go here:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/pspv.html
and download Protected Storage PassView

Run it and delete the stored user name and password for your web.

However, just because you are not prompted for a user name and password,
does not mean that your web is accessible by "anyone" using FrontPage.

I am having the same problem....I need to have the computer ask me for my
user name and password each time I publish to the remote server. I
downloaded the protected storage passview and deleted pretty much everything.
It still is not asking me? HELP!!

Passwords used by FP are "stored" using IE
In IE use Tools > Internet Options > Security
Click on 'Trusted' and on 'Custom Level'
Make sure the selection at the bottom is Not set to:
'Automatic logon with current username and password'
And is set to
'Prompt for user name and password'

If it still doesn't prompt you
- try deleting any network place you have set for that URL
- contact your host to check/repair the permissions on the site
