Mike

I recently lost the ability to open links in IE from any
e-mail or from a short-cut on my desktop. I can still
access links from within IE.

I am using IE 6.0, Outlook 2000, and Windows XP.

I am guessing there is a setting that was inadvertently
changed by one of my young children, but I don't see it?

Can anyone help with this?

Thank you,
Mike

Got the same problem several times. It was because of recent IE6 update you
did through MS.
I forgot which update caused it and am still looking for solution!

Internet Explorer "new Window" & Script error problems

1. Click [Start] [Run] type:
(Press Enter after each command)
Regsvr32 /i URLMON.DLL
Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
Regsvr32 shdocvw.dll

2. Restart Windows
3. Open IE [Tools] [nternet Options] [Programs] [Reset Web Settings]

If this does not help, run this fix: Based on MSKB article:
