Opening a link and having to maximize window

When I open a Link, the window becomes either as large as
my screen or a tiny spec on my screen. How can I size the
window to open to the size I want. It just started doing
this.

Hi "14",

When the window appears, try this:
Resize it by dragging it with the mouse. Do not use the "Maximise" button.
Close the resized window. This size should now be "remembered" on the next
occasion.(with a little bit of luck..........).
