Under Windows XP, whenever I plug in one of my flash drives, XP insists
on popping up a list of options for how to open the drive .... What I
want, however, is to ALWAYS open the flash drive to view files -- none
of the options to use Real Player, view images, etc. Does anyone know
a hack to remove this "too, too helpful" annoyance?

Select Explorer on the list and there should be a box " Always Use" to tick.
Then "OK".
Thereafter the drive should just open Explorer when attached.

That would be very nice ... except that the "Always use" option doesn't
appear at all.
