Hi,

I have several word documents which when you open any one
of them a small dialog box pops up displaying the file
name and title and has two buttons ok and cancel. How can
I disable this pop up from showing every time I open the
document? The same box also pops up when I press print
preview.

Thanks,

E Mady

Look for a macro named autoopen in the documents. Or set your macro
security warning to high. Sounds like it must be set to Low if that is all
that the dialog says. If it actually says that the document contains macros
and asks if you want to enable them, then that may or may not be true. If
that is the case, you can save the document as an .RTF file. then close it
and then re-open it and save it back as a Word document and the problem will
go away
