When I try to play a game such as Tribes 2 in OpenGL all I get is a black
screen with a tiny area of what is supposed to be displayed around the
cursor. I would really prefer to use OpenGL over Direct3D but at the moment
am unable to do so. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks, Justin.

Some early games like quake have their own opengl32.dll in the game
directory which was based on the Glide API for 3dfx cards. Some people have
reported replacing the game directory file with the generic one from
%windir%\system32 helps in games like Quake and Quake 2.
