openening another format in excell

I have some spreedsheets created on staroffice/calc. How
do I open them in excell. I no longer have Stars on my
computer

Assuming they were saved in the Staroffice format, I think you'll need
to download and install Staroffice, open the files in Staroffice, and
save them out as a file format Excel can import.

There is also DataViz's Conversions Plus, but it looks like they don't
support Staroffice yet:
