opened form enter info

I have a form that I open by a command button on another form. It is
filtered to go to a specific record. My problem is that it won't let me
enter data into any of the controls. Why? They are value list boxes and all
i need to be able to do is select one line. But it won't let me. Please
help!?!?!?!?

Does this form work OK when opened manually?

If not, check to make sure the controls are all enabled and not locked, and
that the form property Allow Edits is set to Yes.

If so, then copy and paste the DoCmd.OpenForm statement that you have used
into your followup here.
