We recently got a new computer with Windows Vista and have set up our email.
I am abel to get my email on the new computer but anything in my inbox that
is already opened will not coem through on teh new computer. Teh sam ething
happens if I try going through webmail. Any suggestions?

If you have a POP mail account, then when you download new email to the new
computer, apparently it is set to delete the mail on the server afterwards.
Therefore, it is not available for the other computer to get it. If you are
intending to check email on both computers, then change the settings on both
to leave the mail on the server, and to delete it after 10 days (or so).

In Windows Mail...
Tools - Accounts - youraccount - Properties - Advanced
Delivery: [x] Leave a copy of messages on server
[x] Remove from server after [10] days
ok

Do the same for the old computer.

Most email programs delete POP3 mail from the server when they download it,
so it can no longer be downloaded on another computer.

These instructions work for both Outlook Express and Windows Mail:
1. Click Tools | Accounts.
2. Double click the account.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Check (tick) the box to leave as copy on the server and the two boxes
below it.
