Hi All,

When a user opens their website from FrontPage they get a different
site than the one specified. The different site does not have server
extensions enabled.

How can I diagnose what's wrong with Internet Information Server and
FrontPage Server Extensions?

Many thanks for any help you can provide,
Dale E. Moore

Are you using host headers or a shared IP address? If yes, you really should consider assigning each
site a static IP address, as the FP extensions do not support host headers and/or shared IPs very
well.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your prompt feedback!

Each site has a static IP address.

I wonder if there's any logging I can review to tell me what's
happening.

Please pardon my mis-communication!

Further communication with the very-remote user taught me they were
using FTP, not FrontPage. FTP was setup for another website without
specifying it's IP. I changed this to specify IP and the erronious
login stopped.

Thank you for your time and assistance!
Dale
