We have our web site hosted by another company off-site . I used to be able
to access our web pages via FrontPage with no problem.

I got a new hard drive couple of weeks ago so I reinstalled all the
software. I tried to Open Web in FrontPage yesterday, but got a message that
the folder was not accessible. I contacted our hosting company and they said
it's the Front Page issue. I don't remeber I did any special settings the
first time.

Is there anything I need to set up in Front Page? What would be the
possible cause?

Thank you.

Two suggestions:

1. Double-check your URL.

2. Try opening the same remote Web site from several different PCs, and if
possible from several different locations. Watch for a pattern.

1. URL is correct.

2. no other PC has Front Page installed. can't check from other PC.

Thanks for the reply.

If yuo browse the site and then use IE's Edit button to open the site in
FrontPage, what happens?

I could see the pages one by one. By I still don't have the access to the
site/pages structure. I need to put in a PDF file and add a link on one of
the pages; can't add that PDF. I also need to change images; can't get into
Images folder.

Thanks

Try asking your host to check and fix the FrontPage Server Extensions, and to
reset your password.
