Open Programs

When I mouse click to open a program as many as 18 programs try to open as
the same time. This will happen after the computer has been on for some
time. If I use the start menu to open Outlook, the program starts, but I
cannot scroll throught the messages one a a time, The highlighted messge will
stay that way and any other message I go to will have all of the messages in
between highlighted. I am using a wireless logitech mouse and keyboard.

My wild guess would be that there is a problem with the Shift key on your
keyboard. The Shift key can be used to select multiple items at the same
time. A virus might also be causing this.

Do you experience the same problem with a different keyboard? Can you
provide a specific example, including the names of the other programs that
are opening at the same time?
