Hi,

Is there a way to open up a printer's queue window from start, run or a
command prompt?
(without going to printers and faxes, and double-clicking on the printer).

Start, run, \\myprinterserver\myprinter works fine from start, run.
"start \\myprinterserver\myprinter" works fine from the command prompt.

Neither works from within my vb application :-(

Ah! Found a solution.
I used the wscript shell object to run "cmd /k start /MIN /WAIT " &
\\myprinterserver\myprinter

On my machine, I right click on the printer icon in the system tray and
select "open the Printer and Faxes Folder". This brings up the printer
queue directly on XP Pro. I think I remember that it did on XP Home,
also.
