Open port 8002 proxy

I have a Win2K SBS that got blacklisted because of an open
proxy on port 8002. ISA was not installed at time of
installtion. This will be done, but I need an immediate
way disable this (or even ALL proxies on ALL ports) so
that I can get my server off the blacklist in the
meantime? I am running NAT on the LAN and do not need ANY
proxies here.

Packet filtering seems to be rather cumbersome, since
there is no "Permit all except..." option.

I tried using IIS to set up a new website on that port,
but it says, "Address already in use", even after a server
reboot.

Install ISA now and run the ICW-wizard. Enable the packetfiltering in ISA
and only open the ports you need (SMTP or POP3, VPN, definitely not FTP).
How many nics in your server?

Two NICs on server. One LAN, one WAN. I just needed a
quick temporary fix. I went ahead & did a manual TCP/UDP
filter (w/o reboot) on the WAN card only, leaving open
only the ports we really need (http/dns/smtp & a couple
more). This allowed me to get off blacklist sooner and put
off ISA installation until non-production hours.

Thanks,

Brian
