Open Outlook 2000 backup with Outlook 2002

At the office we switched to Outlook XP from 2000.
I thought I could open my (450MB) Outlook 2000 backup with
XP to retrieve all my information but XP does not read it.
Any solution to this?

Outlook 2002 (the version of Outlook that comes with Office XP) can
certainly read Outlook 2000 files. How are you trying to open it and what
error messages do you get?
