Open or minimized windows do not show up on taskbar

I have a problem with with a taskbar in Windows XP - any
window, which is opened in full or minimized, does not
show as a button on the taskbar, although the taskbar
itself is visible and is not hidden.

Please help!

I suggest you visit MS-MVP Kelly's website at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Note the instructions at the top of the page,
then scroll down to line 240,
(Programs Aren't Minimized in the Taskbar)

Right-click the hyperlink, then click | Save Target As |
to download the file, "xp_taskbar_desktop_fixall.vbs",
then double-click and follow the prompts.
 
I've got the same stinking problem, so I'm going to try the LINK abov
and see if it works. I'll let you guys know
