Open msvcrt.dll

Hi,

I'm trying to install a Crystal Reports client
application
and receive the error "could not open the
filename: 'c:\winnt\system32\msvcrt.dll'. It is in use by
another application.

My question is:

How can I tell what application is using this file? I'v
tried to close all apps but still get this message.

Use the handy-dandy Process Explorer from Sysinternals.com. You can see
what DLLs and kernel objects are in use by a process, and can search for
which process has a particular DLL or kernel object open.
