I want to open the usually images attached in a mail in a new instance of
Internet Explorer. Now they are open in the last instace of Internet Explorer.

Hi Mooooosquis :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Open Multiple Windows In IE

To keep more than one browser window open at a time, click File in the main
menu, select New, then Window. To close a browser window, click the X in the
top right-hand corner or select Close from the File menu. You can also open
a new browser window with Ctrl+N.

And...

You may have a program running which is blocking pop-up windows-
something like Yahoo Companion, Google toolbar, a firewall, Earthlink (or
another) pop-up blocker, etc. You'll have to uninstall the program or turn
off the feature that's blocking new windows.

With some programs of this type, using Ctrl+click or Shift+click will allow
a new window.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure then exactly what you are looking to do. Do you
want to open a graphic/image attachment, such as a jpeg, that you receive in
an e-mail into a new Internet 'browser' window. Or do you mean a new window
in your e-mail/news reader, such as Outlook Express?

What version of Windows and IE are you running?

Hi Mooooosquis :-)
Sorry Jan Il, my english is not very good :(

Not a problem....I'm pretty good at figuring things out after a bit.. ;o))

Ok...see if I am on the right track at this point.....you want to open an
image that you get in an e-mail, but, you don't want it to open in the same
window you are working in at the time. Thus, you want to open it in another
browser window. Well...I'm not sure that it can be opened into another
browser window, at least, I have never done it that way, nor have I heard it
could be, but, that does not mean it can't be. <g>

However, it might work if you had an image editing or graphics program
associated with the images to open them in that kind of a program instead of
a browser window, such as InfranView, which is free, and it is a great
program for viewing and working with images. You download and install it
from here:
http://www.fantasticarts.com/pn/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=47
or
http://snipurl.com/2dn

After you associate the image names, such as jpeg, bmp and whatever other
images types you want to be opened by this program in the File Types of the
Windows Explorer, these images will then be opened into that program window
only. That way you can then save them in any format you wish.

I'm I close here at all? ;-))

Hope this helps

Yes, you are in the right track. Last night ( i'm from Madrid, Spain ), i've
found one way to open the jpeg images in a new instance of iexplorer. Just to
add in action, in folder options, un action call "opennew" and mark it as
default action. I see it in the htm files associations. The only problem now
is that this action restore the last instance of internet explorer, is like
it need a instance for open a new window. I supose this is for the commands
