open in a new tab setting

Hi,
I get these google alert emails with various links in them, and i want to
be able to click on each link and have it open in a new tab in IE, instead
every time i click a new link in the email it just opens it up in the
previous browser, so annoying, please HELLLLPPPPPP!

IE Version?.
If you have IE 6 then Advanced tab on the IE properties and scroll down
under Browsing option and uncheck this box:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Reuse Windows for launching shortcuts

with IE7 under Internet Options General Tab near the bottom is the TAB setting setup.
