How do I change file/open/browse to default to "all files" or to a particular
file type other than html?

Hi Pat,

Sorry you can't. But if you use the File Explorer (explorer.exe) to browse
your folders it will show all files. You can then just click on the file you
want to open and windows will choose the appropiate program (iexplorer or
say an image viewer) to open the file.

Tip: You can add an entire folder to your Links toolbar that will display
the folder contents when selected.
Start the File Explorer and navigate to the folder that you want to link to
from your Links toolbar. With the folder selected choose the Favorites>Add
to Favorites menu and add the folder to your Links folder or just drag and
drop the Folder to your Links toolbar in the File Explorer.

Regards.

Thank you for the tip Rob.

I'm trying to work with Adobe Acrobat files, and, they have to be open in
IE. Is there a way to have the file open in IE rather than Adobe?

Hi,
Is there a way to have the file open in IE rather than Adobe?

I suppose you have a good reason for changing this. Locate a PDF file
somewhere on your harddisk, shift-rightclick on it, select "Open with",
"Choose program".

Kind regards

Hans
