open dialog boxes

I installed my old software in windows XP Home and the
program Open Dialog box is not the same as it was in
Windows 98. Is there a way I can select to have Windows
XP use the same open dialog boxes seen in Windows 98?

No. The old-fashioned dialog boxes are still available but your
applications decide on their own which layout they will use.
 
Hey,

Go to Control Panel >> Users and Groups >> Click change
way users log on and off, Untick Welcome screen, Apply
options, Close, Hope that helps.

I apologise if it is not how you was expecting it but
