open default version excel

I have excel version windows xp excel 2002 and also excel 2007. I have configured so that I can manually open any .xls file either with excel 2002 or 2007. But I would like to configure so that when I double click a .xls file it should open only excel 2002. That is excel 2002 must be my default version. At present if I double click an excel file it opens automatically in ecel 2007. I shal be obiliged to have suggestions. thanks

I am new to this forum and I sm not sure whether this is the correct forum for this question of is it windows xp forum?
