I am using Outlook Express for my mail client but am
using Outlet Calendar as an important reminder. I have
placed the Outlet icon on the "start" line taskbar both
on the left side and the right side. I can click on the
icons to open Calendar. BUT I WANT THE CALENDAR SCREEN
TO OPEN ON MY SCREEN AUTOMATICALLY WHEN I START UP THE
COMPUTER. I forget to open the Calendar and miss
scheduled activities.

Do you know how I can get Outlet Calendar screen to open
automatically at startup.

Go to Tools | Options | Other | Advanced Options, and choose the starting
folder from the dropdown box at the top. Does it work now?

When I did as you instructed I got a list of what screen
Outlook opens on when you click on the Icon. I had
already chosen Calendar. There was no choice (Outlook
XP) to choose that the Outlook Calendar file
automatically opens full screen when I boot my computer.
I must click on the icon to open it and I forget to do
this.

You need to place the shortcut for Outlook in your startup folder. right click the Outlook shortcut and select "Copy". Then go to your start button and right click and select "explore" (this is for Windows XP). Expand the folder "Documents and Settings". Then expand the folder with your logon name. You wil see a folder that is named "start menu". Expand that folder and then expand "programs" and then "Startup". Place a copy of the shortcut in this folder(C:/ Documents and Setting/"your name"/Start Menu/ Programs/Startup) and restart your computer. This should cause Outlook to start automatically at sign on

Sorry about that...I misread your earlier post. Rick's answer should work
for you.
