I've been useing BCM without any issues, trying to flix another issue I
closed Outlook Business Contacts in the folder view (right click, close). I
know that the data still exists as I can see it in the Explorer. However,
when I try to open it, it does nto see it. It onyl sees new data bases that I
create at that time. Even tho they are both in the same folder. How do I
reopen that frist database again.

MSBusinessContactManager.ldf (in folder but wont open)
MSBusinessContactManager.mdf (in folder but wont open)
Test.ldf (new one I created to test, sees it just fine, same folder as above)
Test.mdf (new one I created to test, sees it just fine, same folder as above)

However going to FILE | Database File Management | ADD | Business Contact
Manager | Use Exsisting Database

I only see the Test one, not that MSB one.. again the are both in the same
folder using Explorer. Help!

I really need to open the MSB one as that is where all my contacts are.

Instead of using the menu in Outlook, you have to try from a different
place.

Please try the below:
- close Outlook
- go to Control Panel->Mail
- select DataFiles
- you should NOT see BCM as one of the Data files
- so click ADD and then select BCM

This should fix the problem.

Same thing happens. When I go there, and I select existing database my only
available ones are some test ones I made, not my orignal, and I see no place
to load it that I can.

Do you know which version of BCM was used to create the missing DB? If
it is not being displayed in the list, it could because: you are not
the owner of it, it was created with a version of BCM that is not
supported.

I have no idea what version. How would I check on this? TH ewhole thing was
only installed a few months back on this machine.
