Open Attachment Warning & File Download

I'd like to get rid of the warning box that I get before opening attachments
but I notice that the 'always ask before opening' box is greyed out so I
can't uncheck it. Can you tell me where I find the information that I need
to alter. I have had a look around and I can't seem to track it.

What program (Outlook, Outlook Express, etc) and what version are you in
when you get this message?
 
OE6. XP Home Edition. I use OE6 on my desktop PC using W98SE and I don't get
this message.

I have also noticed that the 'save' box is also greyed out, so I couldn't
save it there but I can from the 'save attachments' option.

I suggest you start by checking all the settings, especially the
security settings, on OE first, if they are the same then take a look at the
XP firewall. I suspect that is where you will find the problem.

If that does not do it, you may want to go to a OE group for specific
help with OE.
