A button on your toolbar would work for you?

If so, I have on the very bottom of this page

http://fido.altervista.org/bm/bookmarklets.php

a bookmarklet (favlet) named AllImages, that I think does what you're
looking for: all the images of the page, listed in a column on a new page.

no not quite what I am after, what it does is on a page of thumbs you can
right click and select a new item to open all linked images in a new window,
saves clicking on each thumbnail individually.

Diplays in a new page

Hi John,
you're too cryptic ;)
What do you mean?
Is it wrong to say "Diplays in a new page"?
Help!

_John Fitzsimons_, mercoledì 25/ago/2004:
Yes, there is no such word as "diplays". The word is "displays". You
left out the "s". :-)

OOOPS! I know I need urgently new glasses!!!
I cut and copied those words and didn't see the error.
I was focused on "new page", worrying it was wrong to say so...

Thank you! :)

I don't know why you don't use a tabbed browser like Avant (IE add-on) or Mozilla/Firefox. All
you need to do is middle-click on the links to open them in new tabs. It might save a lot of
links to sites you don't want from opening.

Why do you post that to John Fitzsimons?

In addition, the OP's request was not about tabbed browsing.

I cannot find the origional program that added the right click menu item to
IE but I found this if you add it as a link or favourite it does what I want
so if anyone else wants it :

javascript:(function(){function I(u){var
t=u.split('.'),e=t[t.length-1].toLowerCase();return
{gif:1,jpg:1,jpeg:1,png:1,mng:1}[e]}function hE(s){return
s.replace(/&/g,'&amp;').replace(/>/g,'&gt;').replace(/</g,'&lt;').replace(/"
/g,'&quot;');}var q,h,i,z=open().document;z.write('<p>Images linked to by
'+hE(location.href)+':</p><hr>');for(i=0;q=document.links;++i){h=q.href;i
f(h&&I(h))z.write('<p>'+q.innerHTML+' ('+hE(h)+')<br><img
src="'+hE(h)+'">');}z.close();})()
