Open a earlier saved version that was overwrighted

Is there anyway to open up an earlier saved version of a powerpoint slide
that i accidentally saved over? I was working on it and opened up another
powerpoint presentation and somehow overwrighted the one i was working on
with that one. Can i go back and somehow get the earlier version before it
was overwrighted?
 
Hi

I'm afraid not. Unless you are on Vista and then you can try the"Restore
previous versions" command in windows explorer (I haven't tried this I just
saw it mentioned the other day).

Did you mail it to anyone? Then you could retrieve it from the Sent items in
Outlook.
