open a document from previous page and position

Hi

How do I open a file so that it returns me to the place I was at in the
document when I saved and closed out?

If this is possible, it would be a feature of the program that you are
using - not Windows. You might check the help file in this program to see
if you find options for opening files there or you could find a newsgroup
that is specific to helping out with that application.

Many programs allow you to bookmark a location in the file and though the
program probably would not open you to that place, you could get there
quickly after opening the document.

In addition to what Patty has posted and if this is a document in progress,
Shift + End will bring you to the end of the entire document.
