i was wondering if anyone knew how to "un"-hide hidden
folders. i was doing some routine maintanence on my
computer and i put most of my back up drives files in one
file. i accidently checked the "hide" box and now i cant
get acces to my file. is there any way to get it back?

You need to go to your settings, and hit folder options
Click to expand...
then you need to click the "view" tab...then click "view
all files" I use this feature lots because of my kids.

Control Panel/ double click "Folder Options" icon/click "View"/scroll
down and check mark "Show hidden files and folders"/scroll down further
and remove the check mark from "Hide protected operating system files
(recommended)".
