OOPS! Lost my Audio Device

I mistakenly allowed Microsoft to download and install "updates" that
immediately resulted in me losing the Audio Device. I am thus unable to enjoy
itunes and other programs that use sound. I have done a system restore to a
point prior to the downloading of "updates" but this did not solve the
problem. Any advice?

Download your soundcard XP drivers from the manufacturer's website and
re-install them.

also lost audio device - who do I contact and how? not very computer savy

Rite im 13 yrs old and a a yr ago i unitsall my sound device from add and
remove program. All i ask for is a link to help me re-install a sound device
to my latop any help please email me ta.
