Oops I did it again... Closing Outlook by mistake

I bumped the "close x" (upper rgt hand corner) of Outlook. I generally have several emails minimized at a time. It kind of serves as a to do list. On more than one occasion, I have closed outlook by mistake and I get a prompt asking if I want to perminately delete items in the delete box. It offers me a YES or NO but no CANCEL. The net result is me loosing my "to do list" and really screwing up my day.

Is there any way to stop the closing of Outlook or should I just be more careful not to bump the x?

Thanks

There's no good way to prevent Outlook closing. Sometimes if you have an
opened email (or calendar item or note, etc) in edit mode (meaning you've
started it but not finished it or saved it) you can get Outlook to remain
open by choosing Cancel when it asks you if you want to save changes.
However, even this isn't 100% reliable.
