I have a notebook which had OOOA working OK. It had a text msg which was
sent to the sender when OOOA was enabled and a rule was setup to forward all
msgs to a specific email address.

The sender now does not get the reply text from the OOOA and the emails
coming in (ALL of them) are NOT getting forwarded to the external email
address.

I tried re-installing Outlook and the problem is still there. What should I
do to fix it?

Contact your administrator; by (secure) default Exchange doesn't send OoOA
messages and doesn't automatically forward messages to the Internet. Verify
that this is enabled first.

Tips of the month:
-Creating Signatures
-Create an Office XP CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 3

I am the admin. And the messages are not being sent to the internal senders.
And the rule setup, which always DID work, now no longer sends the new msgs
to an external email address. OOOA has just stopped functioning.

Have you checked whether the automatic forwarding and the sending of OoOA
messages to the Internet is enabled? Does the rule work when you use it on
the intranet? Note that the OoOA only sends a reply once. You'll need to
disable and enable the OoOA on the client to reset it.
