I'm using Windows 2000 on my laptop, which has two modems:
LT Win Modem
Kyocera CDMA Wireless Modem
Both modems recieve all faxes AOK, and both work as data modems AOK.
The LT Win Modem can send multi-page faxes without any issue.
The Kyocera CDMA Wireless Modem sends the first page of any fax (which
could be a cover page, or a single page document if I don't use the
cover page option), then sits keeping the line open, not sending any
more data. At the recieving end, it gets the first page, and times out
waiting for the Kyocera CDMA Wireless Modem to send more data.
I tried sending to four different faxes. Before I was using the generic
19200 baud modem driver instead of the phone specific Kyocera CDMA
Wireless Modem driver, and had the exact same results.
I called the phone manufacturer, and they said since it's sending the
first page it isn't a phone problem, it's a fax software problem.
Any clues on how to fix this?
