I have an Access 2000 MDB (shared) on a new WinXP workstation.
I have a VB6 exe application on three other new WinXP workstations that uses
ADO connect to read records from the MDB.
Only one userID can open the MDB, however, this userID - if logged on to
more than one XP remote workstation can open the MDB. If logged in as
someone else, I get the open exclusively by another user or you need
permission to view its data message.
The other users that do not work have full control permissions on the MDB
and the directory in which it resides.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
