Here's a weird one that just started happening. I use XP and, when surfing
the web, I can no longer see the title of the pages that I am viewing.
Instead, I just see the first letter. For example, if I go to www.ebay.com,
only the letter 'e' appears as the title. It also appears in the toolbar at
the bottom of the screen. This is annoying, particularly if I have several
pages open at once. Did I inadvertently change a setting? All replies would
be appreciated

Uninstall and reinstall Google Desktop Search and/or Google Toolbar.
