only one email account of two is "send/recieve"

I have set up Outlook 2000 pro with two separate accounts but only one is
activated when I hit send recieve. also there is no down arrow in the send
receive button
 
Do you have Outlook 2000 configured in Internet Mail Only mode or in
Corporate/Workgroup mode? Help/About should tell you, or you can simply look
on your Tools menu -- if you have an "Accounts" item you're in IMO mode; if
you have a "Services" item, you're in C/W mode.
