Only inbox appears on Windows Mail

Regarding the answer from Gary on the 16th Mar, If I delete Norton will the
Windows Mail go back to Normal ? and what happens when I reinstall Norton ?
Please keep the answers in a format that one in the veteran class can
understand !
 
the idea is to NOT install norton.
whether your mail returns to normal, it may depends on how much a mess of it norton made.,
if you need/want virus protection.
try avast. works fine with vista.
norton and macafee are both known to cause problems.
funny they are the loudest whiners that microsoft cut them out of vista.

Guess what, there are no absolute guarantees in life!

Don't "delete" Norton, uninstall it properly. Then, after rebooting,
test Windows Mail to see if it's working properly. If not, there
may be residual damage. If so, remove the email account
that's not working, then recreate it.

Once you get email working, download one of the free antivirus programs,
like AVG or Avast. Whatever antivirus program you decide on, be sure to
configure it so that it does NOT scan email.
