ONLY EXCEL SHORTCUTS do not work

If I open An EXCEL BOOK the EXCEL program opens but not the file in question.
If I open the EXCEL program and then I go to file open and go to the
requested file then no problem.

If I create a shortcut to an excel also gives an error .
I do not have the promblem with WORD or ACCESS
 
If you do not have the problem with Access then why ask here?

Try microsoft.public.excel.?????
