Only display summary upon detection

It would be nice if there was an option to only have a
dialog showing the scan summary if something was found, I'm
often using my computer when the scan runs (@ 2 am I
think). It almost never finds anything and the dialog is
slightly irritating.

I second this opinion. I do not want a dialog box telling
me that nothing is done.
