Is it to early to mention the 'C' word?
After all in a months time it will be the big day!

I always thought there could be NO mention of it till December 1st. And even in the early days of December it must be mentioned only in hushed tones. :p
 
Are none of you curious to know what Feckit actually wants to say about C....shhhh?? It might be something interesting, or funny, or.... well you know what I mean. My feline instincts are bristling with the need to know! :lol:

I think I've evolved in this life to now completely ignore Christmas.

No cards, no decorations, no acknowledgment and online cash transfers for presents I cannot ignore

And for me personally - no religion. This is not to infer disrespect, just my choice/belief :)

And after all this time in my life - it is SO much better this way.

Will leave it until next week when it's December.
But as a taster for TC it's to do with shopping!

And if anyone wants to lock the thread until then, thats fine by me.:thumb:

Oh for crying out loud... here, have some Glögi, then:

- 2 liters (8 cups) red wine
- 10 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 200 ml (3/4 cup) sugar
- 100 g (3 1/2 oz.) blanched almonds
- 100 g (3 1/2 oz.) raisins
- 200 ml (3/4 cup) vodka (optional)
  1. Pour the red wine into a saucepan; add the cloves, cinnamon and sugar;
  2. heat the mixture and leave on the heat for 10 minutes without letting it boil;
  3. add the liquor; strain and serve very hot with a few almonds and raisins.
