Hi. I have FP2000, trying to set up online ordering with FrontPage
Service Extensions. Question. The person filling out the form. He
gets to see a confirmation page. Is it possible to also send him an
email? Still need to send off an email for the order, but it's be nice
to fire off a 2nd email to the user himself. Any advice would be
appreciated...Dennis

Not possible when using the FP Form Handler. Have considered using one of the many pre-written
shopping cart application, since order processing is much more then just sending emails?

Thanks for the reply. Couldn't I create a second, hidden form? On the
subnut() of the first form, isn't there a way to specify the
S-Email-Address of the hidden form and submit() it as well?

It might be possible to do that (coding it would not be easy) - but it would
not work. The extensions use the s-email address on the server side version
of the page. The best you could do is change/create s-email in the user's
browser, not the server-side version. So you would get two emails for the
price of one.
If you could produce code to change the server side version, it would be
easier to write your own form handler anyway.

PS: what is a subnut()?
