Hello:
I'm fairly new to Access 2003 so I may be overlooking the obvious or I did
something wrong. I designed a One to Many Form as follows:
[1] I created a Continuous stand alone form for the parent table
[2] I created a stand alone Datasheet form for the child table
Note: both of the above are based upon queries
I then returned to the parent form, went into design mode, and added the
child table form [previously created] as a SubForm. Everything works but I
have one annoying problem. I placed the Subform just below and as close as I
possibly could to the parent form. When I open the form in a window, that's
exactly how it appears which is what I want.
However, the problem occurs when I maximize the form. Upon maximizing the
form, there is a huge gap of space between the parent table and the datasheet
view of the child table. It looks very unprofessional as there is a large
section of wasted form space that is blank.
I've tried to figure out why this is occurring but at this point in time
it's a mystery to me.
Thanks,
RT
